The scope of this journal is inclusive and is open to theoretical, methodological, quantitative and qualitative scholarship that makes a contribution to the literature from across—and between—all areas of the humanities, behavioral and social sciences.
Three collections in this journal are particularly relevant: Interrogating Interdisciplinarity, Expertise in Integration and Implementation for Transformative Research and Practice-based research of interdisciplinary higher education.

This is the journal of the Association of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS), and is an international, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of the many varieties of interdisciplinarity in the academy and in society at large. (Formerly Issues in Integrative Studies).

Transdisciplinary Insights (TI) is an open access journal dedicated to giving a forum to transdisciplinary research and systems thinking. The journal communicates the results of cross-disciplinary collaboration by masters students and early career researchers with societal actors.
