To create metadata record and/or upload your data, select New and Collection Template and proceed to fill out the form
There are 6 mandatory fields::
General tab - complete Title, Collection Type and Group Affiliation.
Description tab - include a Full Description and Year of data publication
People tab - include a Contact Email.
Subject tab - include a Fields of Research code.
All other fields are optional, however please include information for as many fields as possible. The better the metadata, the better chance that people will be able to locate your data.
After you have entered your metadata, return to the ANU Data Commons Home and search for your collection by title. Depending on your access privileges, you will see a number of buttons that will enable you to edit the metadata, upload files, link to items, etc. You must be logged into the ANU Data Commons to see and use these options.
Once you have finished creating the record and uploading your data files, please send an email to email@example.com to let us know that a record is ready to be reviewed and published.
