As part of the celebrations for the XVII Italian language Week in the World on Wednesday 18th October 2017 (12pm-1pm) the Chifley Library hosted a free public lecture presented by Dr Gino Moliterno (Honorary Senior Lecturer in Film & New Media at the ANU School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics).
Dr Moliterno explored the role of language in the Italian cinema, from the early days of silent films, through the censorship of the Fascist era, the post war period and into the modern days.
