Restored version of the 1914 motion picture produced by Itala Films (full frame). This Italian historical epic ran a full 14 reels (well over three hours) and achieved unprecedent box office success and international critical acclaim.

Originally produced as a silent motion picture in 1915. The restored version features Bartolomeo Pagano, Italy's first strongman who played Maciste in a long series of Italian films. Special features include photo gallery and an anthology of the Maciste films.
