Criminology

Important notice about resource links

The ANU Library has recently transitioned to a new search and discovery system. This means that the links to the resources outlined in this guide will need to be updated, so they direct you to the record in the new system. If you come across a resource with a broken link, you can access the item by searching for the title or author in our Catalogue or SuperSearch.

If you have any questions or need support, please get in touch.

Thank you for reading our subject guides. We hope they are helpful to your studies and research.

Welcome

Welcome to the ANU Library Criminology subject guide. This guide has been put together for anyone studying, teaching or researching Criminology, to help you navigate the Library's broad range of scholarly information resources.

Use the navigation tabs on your left to discover some of the resources available in the library, or watch the video below, from Dr. Margit Averdijk, to find out more about what Criminology involves. As this video shows, there are many different aspects to Criminology, and it can be studied from the perspective of a number of different disciplines.

This guide will focus on Criminology from a Social Sciences perspective. If you are interested in Criminology from a legal perspective, please also view the Law subject guide, and the Criminal Law and Criminal Justice subject guide.
