Library Research

Welcome

This guide provides a broad and general introduction to the ANU Library and our resources, and outlines the different ways we can support, enhance and enrich your journey of scholarship whilst at the Australian National University. It can also be used as an effective accompaniment to training workshops and webinars offered by the Library's Digital Literacy Training team.

The Library is your gateway to a world of authoritative knowledge collections, which combine to a total of many millions of individual items. The materials are distributed across five branch libraries by subject basis, and can be accessed by searching the Catalogue, SuperSearch, e-resources databases, and full text e-journals. To get started, learn about the five branch libraries - you can even watch a video tour of each branch!

Each section of this guide will give you specific and practical information on the methods you can use to access the Library's full suite of information resources, in a timely and effective manner, for all your research needs.
