Don't let the word "monograph" deter you. It simply means "a work contained within a single volume", and is a kind of fancy Librarian's term for "book". We use it, though, to differentiate books from journals (which can also be known as "serials" or "periodicals"). The monographs featured below cover a broad range of historical subjects, and more of them can be found by searching the Library's catalogue.
