Computer Science

A guide to computer sciences resources available from ANU Library.

What is a database?

A database is an index to journal articles. It contains information about the articles including the author, title, source, year published, and often an abstract, which helps you locate them within the database. The database doesn’t hold articles, instead containing only the information needed to find the articles. Many databases have links to the full-text.

Databases for Computer science

Featured Digital Collections

These digital libraries are important tools to find full-text literature in the field computer science, including conference proceedings, reports, articles, and more. These online collections can be searched much in the same way as databases are searched, though they are publisher-specific and contain full-text resources.
