This atlas is published to advance the research on modern languages in South Asia. The maps and tables presented in this book use data available from censuses and other sources covering different parts of South Asia.

This atlas contains information about India including political; geomorphological; climate and weather; land and agricultural; population; social; infrastructure, economy and industries; environment, science and technology; health and diseases; and, states and union territories.
