Model Criminal Law Officers Committee (MCLOC) [now National Criminal Law Reform Committee]In 1990, the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General (SCAG) [now Standing Council on Law and Justice] appointed a committee of criminal law experts to begin the development of a national model criminal code for Australian jurisdictions. The Committee released discussion papers and reports on a large variety of major criminal offences and general principles of criminal law.
