Launched in 2001, Canal-U is the French higher education and research audiovisual platform for open science.
Specially designed to meet the needs of scientific audiovisual, Canal-U is a national higher education and research facility supported by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and managed by the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme.
Featuring interviews, conferences, symposia, courses, podcasts... Canal-U makes a richly documented, multidisciplinary audiovisual collection freely available to all.
Holds more than 300 channels and 40,000 resources.

BNEUF is the digital library of the AUF (Agence universitaire de la francophonie) and is a collaborative space that enables learners to consult online digital resources according to their needs, as well as to exchange and share resources. BNEUF offers easy, free access to millions of documentary, educational, scientific and cultural resources, and to several thousand experts from the French-speaking academic world.

This portal has a MOOC agenda and search engine featuring over 30,000 training materials, the portal's ambition is to eventually provide all the online training courses offered by French higher education schools.

The ACRL (Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association) publishes a libguide with scholarly resources in French Studies, including those covering Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg, Monaco, and Switzerland. The resources organized here are all freely available and have undergone a selection and evaluation process.
