Family history sources in the University Archives

Introduction

What sort of information about your family might be found in the archives of a university? You might be able to find records about a family member who was a member of staff or a student, of a member of the Council or a similar body.

The ANU Archives preserves the university's own archives and collects archives of business, trade unions, professional associations and industry bodies, to support research by the University community and the general public.

See Using the Archives for information on how to access the archives and use them for research.
