To categorise references:
- On the Cite-While-You-Write (CWYW) ribbon in Word, select Catagorise References > Configure Categories
- A dialogue window will open, displaying all references contained within the document
- References can be dragged and dropped into Primary and Secondary source categories
- Alternately, click on the + Category Headings icon (top left-hand corner) to create and/or specify custom categories
- Drag and drop references into the custom categories of your choice
Tip: This feature is useful for styles which dictate references be listed in specific categories, or by primary and/or secondary status.
