A guide to philosophy resources available from ANU Library.

Finding e-books

There are a number of different ways that you can find and access the Library's e-books.

Browse for e-books

Electronic books can be found quickly and simply by searching in the ANU Library's Catalogue, or by selecting the various e-book collections which can be found under the letters "e" or "p" in the alphabetical listing of the Library's E-resources & databases. You can also search by subject within this same section, and selecting "E-Books" will display every e-book provider included in the Library's collection.

Search the Library Catalogue

When searching in the catalogue, e-books will be included in your search results by default and are indicated by the term INTERNET RES, which appears in the right-hand Medium column. In the example which appears below, the first two search results are e-books.

You can also use the catalogue's Advanced Search function, which enables you to limit your search results to ANU Electronic Resources only, before commencing your search.

Select a book from the displayed search results, and click on its title. This will then display the item's full record.

To access the actual text of the e-book, simply click on the View Online link.
