The Australia-Latin America Business Council promotes, encourages and facilitates commerce, trade and investment between Australia and the countries of Latin America.

The Council on Australia Latin America Relations (COALAR) is part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and was established by the Australian Government in 2001 to enhance Australia’s economic, political and social relations with Latin America.

AILASA was established in 1993 with the aim of promoting research into and the teaching of Iberian and Latin American Studies in Australasia.

The Union of South American Nations is an intergovernmental regional organization comprising twelve South American countries.

The Australian Ibero-American Business Council (AIABC) has been created by Australian business leaders to build on Australia’s free trade agreements with Ibero-American States (Peru and Chile), Australia’s strategic partnership agreement with Brazil and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP 11 including Mexico, Peru and Chile).
