They are normally specified on course reading lists and are in high demand. These materials include: copies of textbooks, online (e-reserve) articles and book chapters, and DVDs.
Only available to ANU staff and students reserve items can be searched for and accessed via Wattle or via the Library catalogue. On the library home page search the Catalogue drop down list by course name OR lecturer's surname.
Reserve lists link to online and print resources and indicate in which library branch books are located and if they are available for two hour or two day loan.
Reserve and short loan collection items are either two hour or two day loan:
When the Library is closed, books can be placed in the returns chute near the entrance to each Library location. Books placed in the return chute will be checked in on the date the Library reopens not the date you placed the book in the chute.
To avoid fines please make sure you return books on or before the due date.
