EndNote is a software program that allows you to save and manipulate your references. It works seemlessly with Microsoft Word to allow you to insert your refences and citations into essays and assignments. EndNote automates much of the work of formatting references, and helps ensure consistency in your referencing.
You can download the latest version of EndNote for Windows PC or Apple Mac from the Library's catalogue, or you can access a comprehensive online guide to using the EndNote program in the Subject & 'how to' guides section of the ANU Library's website.
Classes on how to best use EndNote are held regulary in the Chifley and Menzies Libraries. Details of these classes can be found here, and include links to online registration. Or, you visit the Chifley Information Desk for further assistance.
